New updates and whatnot! Things have happened that I can’t believe, and I’ve been working towards getting my endo treated and it’s not working, so a hysterectomy is coming and I’ve scheduled it with my doctor in April 13, 2026. Everything is set up because I’m doing all these things to help myself and I’m still having pain and have already met with the surgeon/doctor about it. There are lot of risks and I’ll be losing my uterus and cervix, but not my ovaries though there are risks and my doctor explained them all in two hours. That’s awhile plus I’m having trouble with the pain and increasing gastric acid, so they are checking that all out this week along with the mri before my major surgery in April, April 13th 2026. This is a long time coming, honestly and I don’t blame myself for this outcome but I do blame the doctors that misdiagnosed me and also, discounted my own experiences. Be your own advocate and whatnot because no one else will do it for you!

Surgery Blues/Thanksgiving Joys/Beginnings Mount
So, it happened- I had my surgery and I had endometriosis, very badly and they also managed to scrap a lot of it away which is great but recovery time in two weeks for me and then I’ll return back to work on the 14th of December. I miss it. I miss being active and hate having to rest but I gotta because they did the surgery laparoscopic, and man does it hurt still. They gave me strong medication for the pain but I’m using it sparingly because it is a schedule II narcotic and I could get addicted and I don’t want that. Anyhow, I’m doing better since I had the surgery on the 24th, a few days before Thanksgiving. Better than missing out on Christmas. Plus, I made it to my deducible and out of pocket costs if you aren’t familiar with US private health care insurance. Once you reach a certain amount you pay for, then, your insurance company covers the rest of the year until the 31st of December. Then it rolls around for next year to meet a new deducible.
