Dreaming Arcadia

New updates and whatnot! Things have happened that I can’t believe, and I’ve been working towards getting my endo treated and it’s not working, so a hysterectomy is coming and I’ve scheduled it with my doctor in April 13, 2026. Everything is set up because I’m doing all these things to help myself and I’m still having pain and have already met with the surgeon/doctor about it. There are lot of risks and I’ll be losing my uterus and cervix, but not my ovaries though there are risks and my doctor explained them all in two hours. That’s awhile plus I’m having trouble with the pain and increasing gastric acid, so they are checking that all out this week along with the mri before my major surgery in April, April 13th 2026. This is a long time coming, honestly and I don’t blame myself for this outcome but I do blame the doctors that misdiagnosed me and also, discounted my own experiences. Be your own advocate and whatnot because no one else will do it for you!

It’s done being coded, only I am waiting on it being converted to wordpress and it’s a waiting game but I hope you love it when it’s all set up and whatnot. Then it was my dad’s birthday on the 14th! He turned 60 and we talked about the past and our relationship while taking him out to a mexican restaurant.

My dad!And also, got gifts from my husband from Valentine’s day, while I gave him a 20 USD gift card to target which was probably will be used for our dog’s food but he’s sure to use it anywhere he wants, honestly. I hope he get anything he wants but since the surgery is a bit away, I’m anxious as fuck but I’ll be gone for 6 weeks and whatnot and we’ve already met our insurance deductible, and my husband has to go on something to control his blood pressure and weight–Wegovy no doubt. I’ll help him in the meantime to deal with it in the end. We did make our vows and speaking of that, our wedding anniversary is on the 9th of March. 13 years married!

People are leaving work left and right due to burn out and just in general just general fatigue of working more than one job and I don’t blame them honestly, so it’s hard then another one is leaving at the end of March sadly to pursue dreams of college and better things. It’s gonna suck but it happens. We all move on eventually. We all have to better ourselves and just move along, like my best friend Ashely finally leaving Texas and stop being a traveling RN and instead staying put in Seattle. I’m happy and sad for her too because I know she was visit and whatnot. I love her regardless. I miss these things about life, how we weren’t always moving away from each other but that’s the nature of life, isn’t it? To leave and be better than ourselves an to reach the limit of the sky. I’m nervous about the surgery because it’s very complicated though to be honest, it’s to help me and that cannot be discounted.
