Edit: They called! I will miss Christmas! December 22nd for my surgery.

So, with me getting my CT scan recently, I’m just waiting on my team at the doctor’s office to give the a-ok for the surgery which I hope to hear something back during next week. I can’t lie and say that the anxiety isn’t killing me because it is and the pain is too, and not to mention that I had an incident at work where I hit my head, luckily, only a bruise and luckily, nothing too major to sue over. Just kidding. Not that I would anyhow. At least from the things that Tom Thumb has done to me.

I wanna be honest and say I’m doing okay but working these long hours including closing from 3-11 pm is killing me a lot and it doesn’t help that I am in constant pain a lot of the time due to that L5 nerve shooting down pain through my right leg a lot of the time. I think that’s how I had my accident at work, I had a spasm in my right leg and hit my head on shelving which isn’t fantastic but at least, it’s okay for now. I had to go home but I’m doing okay at this moment…minus the anxiety of spinal surgery and knowing when I can get it. It’s been hell for me literally; and besides work being exhausting with these twisting hours, and having bare bone skeleton crew at night and evening times when it gets busy, work hasn’t gotten any easier honestly.

It’s gotten worse. Customers have gotten worse. Some have touched me inappropriately and some have lashed out at me because of machine error and even then, I can barely survive it. I think I’ve sobbed and I’ve seen a lot of people crying at work too, so it isn’t just me but honestly, I don’t know what to do most of the time, because I don’t necessarily have the energy to combat these bad feelings and bad customers; luckily there are more good customers than bad so it isn’t too bad and I’m friendly with a lot of them.

I recently cut my hair into a new style! It’s quite short but I quite like it: and I think I’ve seen so many different movies this year not including the newest Street Fighter movie which was just plain dumb fun! Then my husband decided to help upgrade my wedding ring. 14 years next year and I still want to do our renewals on the beach hopefully for the 20th or less. It’s important to me.
