My surgery is in less than a week or so-November 24–and yesterday, I did the preop and preregistration for it with my aunt whom is like my mother at this point and goes to all my appointments and is my consolation in all this journey. I don’t owe anything but the surgery costs like 67K which is ridiculous. At the end, I am from the US and have employer based private insurance which is unreal and crazy through my husband’s job. At the end, there’s no guarantee that my doctor will find the endometriosis in me. I was told that there weren’t be any damage but that’s the risk, risk with all surgery, honestly especially any kind.

Sometimes Things Do Get Better
So, I was pleasantly wrong with my SOM aka Department Head manager and I’m grateful for that—Sometimes being proven wrong is a good thing because I’ve shown her what an asset I am with the front end and she appreciates that. I always take my work seriously. And things have considerably have been looking up with the set up with my surgery date being before Thanksgiving which was hard to take because I rather miss one minor holiday than the biggest one- Christmas plus had to do it before my benefits expired on the 31st of December. And my new ones begin after on January 1st. Insurance is crazy complicated for no reason especially with the government shut down.
