October is here and it’s still pushing 80+ degrees out here in Texas, though I can’t exactly fault anyone but the people that didn’t care about climate change or just flat out ignored that people are the cause of it changing the weather like it has for the worst. But that’s neither here nor there, honestly, and I could say that with a new member of staff added to Tom Thumb, that it has gotten better but I don’t know?
I’d say the word that we’re more than anything understaffed despite the changes and despite the fact that so many people left, quit, were fired etc; and that good workers are just too hard to find. The job isn’t particularly difficult nor strenuous but it can be long, but, honestly? Things haven’t exactly calmed down with so much happening at work, and my work at Tom Thumb. Though I thought I’d update on the fact that things haven’t been too bad even with all these changes happening all around me and me entering my 5th year at the company though unmarked even if there are problems with the new management, apparently. I don’t understand a lot of the things most of the time as I’m just trying to work and trying to do my job and go home.
I honestly, don’t have to keep a job but it certainly helps my husband a bit with some extra income and helps with my mental health and I get money, too! MONEY! Right now, things are always tight but we always manage to handle everything all right at home and with finances, so there’s that at least. At least the year is ending and that there’s time for reflection and me throwing away the last of the year. Though my weight loss journey continues with going down to 124-123 lbs, trying to get down to my goal weight of 120-115 lbs, though the real task begins with me toning up my body.
Wish my luck!
Also, two years ago, or one and a half, I discovered through a routine ultra sound that I had a polyp which is a mass of cells in my gallbladder and if they grew then, it would be an indication that I’d have to have gallbladder removal surgery, because it would be cancerous and apparently, gallbladder cancer is very aggressive; though easy to rid of and you can live without it, thank goodness.
A second ultrasound was done and new findings came to light: I’ll let you read them here:
well, I just didn’t want to contend with a new surgery despite it being a day one but I suppose I’ll wait until I see my doctor and see what he can consider since the polyps, both of them are pretty big now. I’m more than unhappy with this revelation and just overall depressed on it. I feel that my body is primarily trying to go against me if it hasn’t already…
On a better note, I’ve been paying someone for a Princess Serenity Cosplay and it’s done despite me having a lot to pay off on said cosplay but it’s fantastic!
Now for the look at the front and back , along with the bottom of the Princess Serenity dress along with the wig, I also commissioned.
and finally the wig…
The dress coming from Camilla Costumes and wig from pastelette_wigs, both on Instagram and worth checking out to fulfill your cosplay needs!
Thanks for reading my updates and whatnot…oh well, things have to get better, right? I’m hoping so.
I’m sorry to hear that things haven’t calmed down at your work and the ultrasound found 2 polyps in your gallbladder. I hope it goes well with your doctor.
The Princess Serenity dress is beautiful!
